Nose: Elegant with floral notes and small red fruits.
Mouth: Supple, fresh with nuances of spices and undergrowth. The tannins are very silky.
Serving temperature: 14-15°C.
Pairing: Charcuterie, game, rabbit stew and cheeses.
Tasting advice: Drink young to appreciate its fresh fruit.
After a few years in cellars, it appears riper and more complex.
Aging potential: Up to 5 years.

Brouilly “Les Quartelets” is produced in the town of Odenas. There are different types of soils: the vines located closest to Mont Bouilly benefit from the presence of blue granite, rich in magnesium and of volcanic origin which makes up the hill.
Further, the land resulting from alluvial deposits are more sandy.
Manual harvest as soon as the grapes are fully ripe in mid-September.
Semi-carbonic maceration for 10 days (50% destemmed bunches) in cement vats before pressing.
Alcoholic fermentation under temperature control.
Malolactic fermentation: carried out at 100%.
Aged in casks for at least 6 months then in vats after filtration.
Bottling at the end of spring.
