Deep red color. The nose develop intense flavors of red fruits : red currant, raspberry. The palate is rich and fleshy, it reveals a good balance.
Serve at 15 to 16 ° on a grilled beef, with a veal or a traditional coq au vin.

Juliénas is located at the extreme northwest of the Beaujolais region, bordered on the south by the Cru Chénas and northeast by the Saint-Amour. The appellation covers four municipalities : Juliénas, Jullié, Emeringes and Pruzilly. The climat "Les Mouilles" is above the villages of Juliénas, southern exposure, with a clay and schist soil.
Hand picked at full ripeness of the grapes in beginning of September.
Semi-carbonic maceration 10-12 days (whole berries) in cement tanks before pressing.
