Eye: Intense ruby color
Nose: Very expressive on candied fruits, accompanied by slightly spicy notes, a touch of mint.
Mouth: Structured and delicious, with silky tannins. Aromas of ripe red fruits persist.
Serving temperature: 15-16°C.
Pairing: Meats in sauces or roasts, barbecued prime rib.
After a few years in cellars, it appears riper and more complex.
Aging potential: Up to 8 years.

La Dîme is located very close to the center of the village of Chénas on the terraces towards the Saône valley, the terroir is very heterogeneous, we find granite in depth as well as silica, clay and pebbles in surface.
Manual harvest as soon as the grapes are fully ripe in mid-September
Semi-carbonic maceration for 9-10 days (whole bunches) in stainless steel vats before pressing.
Alcoholic fermentation under temperature control.
Malolactic fermentation, carried out at 100%.
Aging in vats for 8 months.
Bottling in spring.
