This wine comes from our family property located in the town of Régnié-Durette and Lantignié at a place called "l'Ermitage".
The Beaujolais-Villages appellation is grown on the best hillsides in the region. Spread over 38 municipalities, the Beaujolais Villages vines flourish thanks to the particular sunshine of these terroirs because this prestigious vineyard is based on granite soils, sand or volcano-sedimentary rocks.
The hillside of the place "l'Ermitage" is essentially made up of deep granite and a thin layer of sand on the surface, which gives freshness, elegance and character to this cuvée.
Manual harvest when the grapes are fully ripe at the beginning of September.
Semi-carbonic maceration for 5 to 7 days (whole bunches) in stainless steel vats before pressing.
Alcoholic fermentation under temperature control.
Malolactic fermentation carried out at 100%
Aging in vats for 3 to 4 months before bottling.
